In its capacity as the General Secretariat of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions with jurisdictional functions (JURISAI)., the Court of Accounts hosted, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, a technical meeting attended by senior officials from the Organization’s Governing Board, comprising representatives of member SAIs from France, Portugal, Brazil, Senegal, Italy, Spain, Mauritania, Angola, Djibouti, and Morocco, in preparation for the upcoming governing board meeting, which will bring together the presidents of the SAIs and is scheduled to take place in Brazil in Septembe

The First President, Mrs. Zineb EL ADAOUI, received on a working visit on June 3, 2025, the Director of the Regional Center of the Islamic Development Bank in Rabat, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed ABOUBACRINE.

This meeting was an opportunity for both officials to welcome the positive results of the cooperation between the two institutions, which has led to the implementation of several joint interest projects, particularly in strengthening the professional capacities of the Court of Accounrs.

The Court of Accounts participated, in its capacity as a permanent member of the Board of External Auditors of the African Union (AU), in the meeting held on May 29, 2025, at the Union’s headquarters in Addis Ababa. The agenda focused on the approval of the financial audit reports of the AU and its organs for the 2024 fiscal year.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the headquarters of the Court of Accounts, Mrs. Zineb EL ADAOUI, First President of the Court, received Mr. Zoro Epiphane Bi Ballo, President of the High Authority for Good Governance of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, who was accompanied by two members of the Authority.

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Mrs. Zineb EL ADAOUI, First President of the Court of Accounts, received Mr. Warren Chisha Mwambazi, President of the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zambia, accompanied by a high-level parliamentary delegation. The meeting took place at the Court’s headquarters in Rabat, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Eliphas CHINYONGA, Ambassador of Zambia to the Kingdom of Morocco.

Mrs. Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts, Secretary General of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions “AFROSAI”, and Mr. Khaled Ahmed Chekchek, President of the Audit Office of Libya and President of AFROSAI, presided over the ceremony, on Friday, May 2, 2025, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding concerning the transfer of the functions of AFROSAI’s General Secretariat to the Court of Auditors, and the definition of its commitments in terms of resources and facilities necessary for the optimal functioning of its activities.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, a headquarters agreement was signed, under which the Kingdom of Morocco will host the headquarters of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI). The agreement was signed by Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, and Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, Secretary General of AFROSAI and First President of the Court of Accounts. This agreement outlines the operational framework for the organization within the Kingdom, its commitments, and the privileges granted to its main headquarters.

The Court of Accounts is taking part in the 30th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL), which will be held Under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, from April 17 to 27, 2025, in Rabat, under the theme: “Audit and Partnership for Development.”
