Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Morocco and The Gambia to bolster public finance oversight
On July 14, 2025, the First President of the Court of Accounts Ms. Zineb El Adaoui signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with her counterpart Mr. Modou Ceesay, General Auditor of the Republic of The Gambia with the aim of broadening the scope of the partnership between the two institutions.

Strengthening oversight cooperation was a central focus of the talks between the First President of the Court of Accounts and her Chadian counterpart.
Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts, held talks with Ms. Zara Ibrahim Mahamat Itno, President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Chad, accompanied by a high-level delegation. Held as part of a series of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the 62nd session of the Executive Board of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI), the meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to share their expertise and best practices in light of the longstanding ties between the two countries.

The Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco participated, with a delegation led by Mrs. Zineb EL ADAOUI, First President, in the G20 Supreme Audit Institutions Summit (SAI20), held on June 24 and 25 in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the invitation of the summit’s presidency, represented by the Auditor-General of South Africa. The Court of Accounts also contributed to the technical preparatory meetings for this Summit, held in February and March.

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, the First President of the Court of Accounts, Ms. Zineb EL ADAOUI, received a joint delegation from the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), composed of Ms. Anne Leliépault, Mr. Fahad Alohali, and Mr. Jean-François Leruste.
This visit was part of a global study on the independence of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).
