Working Visit of the President of the High Authority for Good Governance of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire to the Court of Accounts

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the headquarters of the Court of Accounts, Mrs. Zineb EL ADAOUI, First President of the Court, received Mr. Zoro Epiphane Bi Ballo, President of the High Authority for Good Governance of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, who was accompanied by two members of the Authority.
At the beginning of the meeting, the First President welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the longstanding and fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. She then provided an overview of the constitutional missions of the Court, with emphasis on its role in consolidating and the protecting the principles of good governance, and highlighted the complementarity of its various competencies.
This meeting provided the Ivorian delegation with an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the Court’s competencies, particularly in the areas of mandatory asset declaration and budgetary and financial discipline.
For his part, Mr. Zoro Epiphane Bi Ballo presented an outline of the mission of the High Authority for Good Governance in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, particularly with respect to the prevention and fight against corruption, as well as asset declaration. He commended the relevance of the Moroccan experience in these fields and expressed interest in drawing on it to enhance the future implementation of similar practices within his institution.
