In its capacity as the General Secretariat of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions with jurisdictional functions (JURISAI)., the Court of Accounts hosted, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, a technical meeting attended by senior officials from the Organization’s Governing Board, comprising representatives of member SAIs from France, Portugal, Brazil, Senegal, Italy, Spain, Mauritania, Angola, Djibouti, and Morocco, in preparation for the upcoming governing board meeting, which will bring together the presidents of the SAIs and is scheduled to take place in Brazil in September.

In her opening address, Mrs. Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts, highlighted that this meeting represents the culmination of continuous coordination efforts and regular exchanges carried out within the Organization’s standing committees. She noted that, through this process, significant progress has been made in advancing the Organization’s mandate. She further emphasized that, beyond its procedural and administrative nature, this meeting serves as a genuine platform for reviewing strategic priorities and shaping future policy directions. The First President also reaffirmed the commitment of the Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco to mobilize all necessary efforts in support of the Organization’s success and to contribute actively to its ongoing momentum, so that it may effectively respond to emerging challenges in the area of jurisdictional control of public finances.

This meeting was conducted as part of the operationalization of JURISAI’s strategic plan and the consolidation of the institutional foundations necessary for its prominence and effectiveness. The agenda included also the presentation and discussion of commission reports, the partnership roadmap, and financial matters related to its governance.

On the sidelines of the JURISAI governing board meeting, the Court of Accounts hosted, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, an international seminar under the theme: “Communication by Supreme Audit Institutions on their Jurisdictional activities: key issues and Challenges”. This seminar, which brought together international experts from member SAIs, aimed to examine the institutional foundations, the regulatory framework, and the strategic significance of communication on jurisdictional activities, while addressing the challenges and practical modalities involved.
